"Ok, but i cant still understand why you where so happy. Said grand mom."
You rolled eye and the first time but tell her the whole thing letter.
She smile and said "Samuel, will you come sit with me for few mins?"
You sat on the couch ready to listen to whatever she'd say.
Looking intently on eyes she said. "My son. One hand cannot scratch a double spot in the body."
Look like she've stirred up your thinking faculty that was almost rested through the long holidays.
"What do you mean grand mom?"
"I mean focus." She said.
"Yes focus, you cannot divide focus while waiting for success." she added, she continues "The moment you've got a divided focus is exertly the moment you're begining calling for failure."
You're begining to grasps this old woman now. Without doubt she is talking about education and sport.
She continues.
"Sam. Career is important, i mean very important but education is much more important at your age, Career without education is like a building without a foundation. A building without a foundation is sure to collaps some day, and thats how a career without education will."
Its your time to speak up you mind to your grand mom. "Well thanks grand mom for those advice. What you need to know is 'I love football' and are ready to give up everything for it. I've work so hard to be a full member of my school senior team and now the opportunity have arrived now or never."
Your mother who've been listening to your conversation from the passage walks in and sit close to you.
"Son" She called.
"Yes mom."
"We've wanted just the best for you. Its obvious that you may not understand what your grand mother and I want from you, but just have in mind that we want the best for you and you'll never be disappointed if you'd follow our instructions."
Hmmm! The discussion for you were just like a drama. You learn how important education is but yet you aren't convinced to let go of your football career you've worked so hard for.
Your mom and grand mother go lenght talking trying to convince you to quit football and focus on education.
"You are right but i'll think about all you've said letter."
"May you come to the right decision son" they concluded. CONTINUE
